Nevena Spirovska is a political and social change campaigner based in Melbourne.

 

Her activism is centred around drug-law reform, homelessness advocacy, and grassroots political action.

 

As a drug law reform activist, she created and coordinated the High Alert and Welfair campaigns, and now works as a conveyor with the harm reduction organisation Unharm!

 

She’s passionate about addressing homelessness and is a Board Member of the National Homeless Collective which oversees the operations of Melbourne Period Project , The School Project, The Plate Up Project, Secret Women’s Business, and Blanket Melbourne.

 

Nevena's cultural background is Macedonian; her family came to Australia following the Yugoslavian war. She has called Melbourne home ever since.
